This week in real time:

While we awaited Dylan's return, the dogs and I made sure to get out daily to run, mosey, or hike in the beautiful Idaho nature!

Our garden continues to show promising growth with a few zucchini on the brink of picking, and a lot of lettuces coming in! I also have been appreciating this little creek that runs through the property - Luna's favorite post walk watering hole! Also check out the nice new sign that Dylan helped install a few weeks ago.

After over a month of driving past numerous hot springs anytime we left the property, I finally made it to one! I went to Sunbeam Hot Springs just 14 miles up the road. The hot spring runs down into nice pools right on the edge of the Salmon River so it was easy to find a mix of hot and cold water. I loved soaking and enjoying the beauty of the river up close!

On Friday the dogs and I made the long drive to Boise to pick Dylan up, but his flight did not land until almost midnight. We decided to camp out for the night rather than start our long drive on windy mountain roads in the dark. We enjoyed some city conveniences like fast food, coffee to go, and easy access to grocery stores!

What we're eating this week:

Salsa Verde Pork My Aunt Jen recommended this dish awhile ago and it is definitely an easy go to now!
