This week in real time:

After our quick trip East we are adjusting back to Idaho ranch life. It feels like the sun is setting so much earlier than before we left, and kind of makes me miss the 10pm summer sunsets! The other big change is some freezing temperatures overnight. I have been battling to try to keep our garden alive by covering it with a tarp overnight.

We made a big leap this week by learning some new truck repair skills. Happy to report that Clifford is doing well after we replaced our own rotors and brake pads! Poor Dylan also had to use all of his body weight to get all of the lugnuts unstuck - it was time for us to replace those as well.

We have been keeping our heads down trying to be productive this week. Starting to figure out our departure and plans for exploring Oregon. As it turns out, not having to plan where to park all the time was a really nice break! I'm sure I'll get back into the groove soon though.

The rest of the week consisted of preparing for a large weekend event - a motorcycle rally! But think off road adventure dirt bikes, not big Harley Davidson motorcycles. The crowd has been much younger than we pictured, and really nice! All week we watched the staff start preparing, and then bam on Thursday the ranch was FILLED with campers, vans, tents, and of course dirtbikes. We are packed in like a can of sardines but it happened without us even realizing! The event is put on by Mosko Moto and is called the Dusty Lizard

What we're eating this week:

In an effort to use up some of our bulk costco ingredients before we start moving again, I found these awesome almond flour breakfast bars. I put pecans, raisins, and nutmeg in mine - so yummy!
